Andrea Anderson Realtor®
After retiring as a second level manager from one of the world’s busiest and most complex facilities as an Air Traffic Manager, Andrea settled on her next adventure, working to help people realize their real estate goals.
Her lifelong fascination with all things real estate led her to a succession of buying and selling real estate for her own needs. As a seasoned homeowner and landlord, Andrea is in a unique position to understand the position of all types of homebuyers and sellers; from the individual buying their first home to the experienced real estate investor.
Andrea has never been a “sit back and watch” kind of woman, either. From an early age, she has had a strong desire to get involved. Making sure she received the training she needed to succeed in her own goals, she enrolled in over 15 years worth of coursework with the FAA, learning how to manage and negotiate, and receiving her certification as an Equal Employment Opportunity Counselor.
She is dedicated to helping people find homes, even going so far as to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, as well as the Global Village organization. As an international volunteer, Andrea has helped build homes—hands on—in Paraguay, Guatemala, India and Vietnam. Recognized as a person who knows how to get things done, she has now been promoted to a team leader role, and will be leading her first build in Thailand in July of 2017.
Back here at home, Andrea is “Giving Back to Humanity – One House at a Time.” Her personal motto is apropos. Andreas’s real estate clients in San Diego know her as a trustworthy, perseverant and big-hearted agent who gives her full attention to every deal. She conducts every interaction and real estate transaction with honesty, integrity and trustworthiness.
When Andrea isn’t working, she spends her time volunteering with her local church and her grandchildren’s elementary school, as well as supporting “The White Rainbow Project,” which helps Indian widows to be self-sufficient and independent. Keeping her company at home while she enjoys arts and crafts and sewing is her beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Jimi.
